How to record channels to pc from the dreambox?

If you want to record the channels of the dreambox,like movies,fudball games,songs,etc,you can do this very easy with a program called WingrabZ using your computer,wich is connected to the same network as your dreambox.The program will record in mpg2 file format.Below you can find the link and download the program.The program is very easy to use,you will just need to enter the ip adres of your dreambox.

Setup alarm clock with your dreambox DM500S

You can use your dreambox for many daily tasks and one of them is the alarm clock wich can wake you up in the morning.To setup the alarm click the Menu button and then select setup.

Click the blue panel at the bottom

Then click Extras/Setup

Then click Alarm clock

Check the enable/disable button

Then setup the alarm time and the volume offset(default is good),you can test the alarm sound and when you are finish click exit.The alarm will be active.

How to check email with your dreambox DM500s?

İf you want to check you email while you are watching tv,you can do that with your dreambox too.İn this blog i will be showing you how to setup email account and check for email with your dreambox DM500s.

Click the menu button and navigate to setup

Then click blue panel at the bottom.

Then click Extras/Setup

Then click eMail-Checker

Now click the Menu button at your remote control.

Then click create account

Here you will enter your emails pop3 settings wich you can find in your emails settings or help pannel.But your email has to support Pop3 and İmap.

When you finish the setup you can click update current account or all accounts if you have more than one email.
